Richmond Parker, born in Richmond, Virginia on December 5th 1985. His early stages of his childhood was filled with harsh and sometimes violent realities. He grew up listening to a mixture of soul and west coast misic, from Micheal Jackson, to Stevie Wonder, Marvin gaye to Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and 2Pac. At a young age Richmond seen drug use, abuse and death but through it all his only friend to help him through his troubled youth was music. As Richmond got older he moved to Hartford CT. It was in Hartford where he was introduced to a whole new way of living and experienced different types of people and music. While in CT Richmond learned so many new styles of music from Biggie Smalls, DMX, Jay Z, Nas, Donnell Jones, Usher, and TLC, to Nsync, Kid Rock, Emeniem and Limp Bizkit. Richmond was always shy when it came to singing in front of people. It all changed when he almost got himself in trouble for having the TV on when he was suppose to be sleeping but in fact the TV was off, he was just singing himself to sleep.
By the age of 13yrs old, Richmond Sarted writing songs and singing them to his close friends. At 15, he performd in his middle school talent show singing “Wait A Minute” by Ray J. This act quickly got him known around school as “that guy that can sing.”
